The KTI FREE taster masterclass series continues on:
26 April at The Heath, Runcorn with Sir Chris Bonnington
'Leading in Difficult Circumstances'.

Participants will “join” Sir Chris Bonington on the ascent of the South West face of Everest in 1975. It was the largest and most complex expedition ever to leave Britain, tackling what is arguably the most daunting challenge in the history of climbing – Everest the Hard Way.
You will be taken through the planning process and then, with the scene set, on to the climb itself, given all the relevant information and then, working in groups, you will be invited to suggest solutions to the problems involved. The questions examined are ones of leadership and dealing with people rather than climbing tactics.
This approach enables the entire group to participate in the climb, exploring different ways to deal with issues as they occur.
Its strength is its participatory nature. In the course of the discussion Sir Chris brings you back to your own work day challenges and encourages you to compare these with the issues you explored on the mountain.
